Transport & logistics

Cavaleri Srl

A haulage company since 1974: national and international transport, groupage and pallet distribution, guarded warehousing and a builders' merchant. Four very different lines of business on one trilingual site — without a visitor ever wondering where they took a wrong turn.

Four services, one chain

Every one of these sites is live. The links go straight there.

A website isn’t a business card. It’s the first sales conversation — and it happens without you.

six areas

What I build for you

All of it from one pair of hands. Start with one area, or hand over the whole presence.

01

Custom websites

Most people have decided before they ever speak to you. So structure, copy and design are built around the action you need: a call, a booking, an order.

  • Landing pages and full sites
  • Structure that leads to an enquiry
  • Multilingual, editable by you
  • Clean code that belongs to you
02

Logo & brand identity

A recognisable brand makes a small business look substantial. I settle logo, colour and type — and the rules that keep them consistent everywhere.

  • Logo and variants for every use
  • Palette and typography
  • Short brand manual
  • Cards, signage, social profiles
03

Online stores & booking

Selling online without friction. Every extra step between product and payment costs orders — I take them out.

  • Catalogue and product pages
  • Payment and shipping
  • Online appointment booking
  • Training so you can run it yourself
04

Motion, 3D & imagery

Movement with a reason: leading the eye where it needs to go. A site that moves well is remembered longer than one that merely exists.

  • Scroll-driven animation
  • Light 3D scenes
  • Purpose-made images and video
  • Reworking the material you already have
05

SEO & performance

A beautiful site nobody finds earns nothing. Structure, speed and copy work together so Google understands what you offer and to whom.

  • Keyword research
  • Core Web Vitals and load time
  • Structured data and Google Business Profile
  • Copy written to be found
06

Hosting & care

The real work starts after launch. Backups, updates and changes stay with me — you get on with your business.

  • Domain, email, SSL certificates
  • Regular backups and updates
  • Changes included every month
  • One contact, reachable
pricing

What it costs

The price comes from what you need, not from a price list. Below: how it is worked out, four real examples, and the two monthly contracts you can take separately.

Your price

What your website costs depends on what it has to do

No packages to squeeze into: you pay for the items that concern you and no others. How many pages, how many languages, what the site has to do — that is where the figure comes from.

Free and without obligation. I only ask for your details at the end, once you actually want the quote.

  1. 1Answer eight questions. Ninety seconds, no account.
  2. 2See your price range straight away, with the items it is built from.
  3. 3The binding quote reaches you within 24 hours. You take it or you don’t.

So you have a figure in mind

Four cases that reach me often, with what they actually cost. Not packages — examples. Yours will land somewhere among them.

  • A single page €325 – 400
  • Up to five pages €525 – 650
  • Five pages in three languages €800 – 1,000
  • Online shop €1,200 – 1,550

These are the same items I use to work out your quote. There is nothing underneath them.

Monthly care

A separate contract, not tied to building the site: take it alongside, or on its own for a site you already have. Twelve-month minimum term, then cancellable at any month’s end. If you need more change time per month, just ask — there are two larger tiers.

Care Basic

The site stays current and reachable

39 €per month

  • Included:
  • Updates and security patches, every month
  • Monthly backup of the whole site
  • Uptime and SSL certificate monitoring — I notice before you do
  • Small changes included: text, photos, opening hours, contact details
  • Direct support, no ticket system: you write to me, I answer

For small sites that simply have to work.

Request this package

For a site I didn’t build I look at what’s there first: site review 99 € one-off, credited if you then take a care plan. Without care the site runs just the same — nobody does the updates, that’s all.

All levels and terms

Domain & hosting only

Don’t need a website (yet)? Your domain with a professional email mailbox works on its own: we register and manage it, you get your own access details. A separate monthly contract — and if you ever want the website, the domain is already yours.

Domain & hosting

Domain, web space, SSL and email mailbox

9.90 €per month

  • Included:
  • Your domain (.it, .de, .com, .eu …) — registered and managed by us
  • 10 GB of web space with FTP access
  • SSL certificate included — renews itself
  • Email mailbox info@yourdomain — create more yourself
  • Your own account with YOUR access details

For anyone who wants a domain with professional email — no website. 12-month minimum term, then cancel at month’s end.

The prices shown are what you pay.

Beyond the packages

Your project doesn’t fit a package?

Then I’ll build it anyway — just not off the shelf. Some projects don’t fit into three lines and a fixed price: a shop with its own logic, a booking system, a multilingual catalogue, an admin system that takes work off your hands.

What it costs depends on three things: what it has to do, how much of it already exists, and how fast you need it. That’s why there’s no figure here. The price comes out of that conversation, where we go through what’s actually needed and how you picture it. Once we’ve agreed, it’s in writing and fixed before anything starts.

The first conversation is free and commits you to nothing. By the end you’ll know what it costs and why — even if you say no.

How we work

Four steps, one fixed price. No surprises on the invoice.

01 Day 1

Conversation

An hour on the phone or in person: what you sell, to whom, and what happens today instead of the result you want. The quote comes out of that — free, and binding on me.

02 Days 2–3

Direction

You see the first screen before the rest gets built: colour, type, rhythm, tone. It’s approved while changing it still costs little.

03 Weeks 1–2

Build

Section by section, each properly finished before the next begins. You watch it grow through a private link instead of receiving a file at the end.

04 Launch day

Launch & growth

Domain, email, measurement, legal pages. After launch I stay reachable: a site nobody tends loses ground on Google month after month.

The whole path from your first message to the finished site — with the very screens you’ll see along the way. Afterwards you know what you’re getting into.

day and night

An assistant who actually picks up

Her name is Manuela, she is Vecom Design’s AI assistant, and she answers the phone and the voice window here on the site — day and night, in English, Italian and German. Not an answering machine: you can give her things to do, and she does them.

She quotes prices right away

A realistic price range for your project within the first minute — no leaving your number and waiting for a callback.

She takes a look at your website

Tell her the address of your current site: she checks it while you talk and tells you what she notices — what works and what holds it back.

She sends you the quote

You get the configurator link, pre-filled with what you’ve already told her — open it, complete it, see your price range.

She books a real appointment

A day and a time to talk to Uwe — not a vague “we’ll get back to you”.

She knows your project

If you’re already a client, she tells you where your project stands and what’s missing — and walks you through it step by step when something jams.

She fills in the questionnaire with you

The project kick-off questions? You do them together on the phone: she asks, you talk, fifteen minutes — without touching a keyboard.

Try her now: the voice window is in the bottom right corner. Ask her something an answering machine wouldn’t know. And when it takes a human, she takes notes — and Uwe calls you back.

Uwe Vetter

Who is behind Vecom Design

Uwe Vetter

Web designer in Aragona (Agrigento) · Sicily

I don’t come from marketing, I come from practice: before I built websites for other people, I had to build them for myself — a shop for Sicilian products, a neighbourhood platform, a publishing imprint for illustrated books. So I know the moment when a site is live and the phone still doesn’t ring. And I know what it usually comes down to.

What that means for you: the prices are published right here, you don’t have to ask to find out. You get a written quote at a fixed price. Nothing appears on the invoice that wasn’t in the quote. And if you don’t need something, I’ll say so: if a single-language site is enough for you, that’s what I’ll tell you, even though I earn less that way.

I’m German and live in Sicily. From Aragona in the province of Agrigento I work for clients across Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland — in Italian, German and English. I know both mentalities: the precision of one, the personal touch of the other. And you always talk to the same person who then builds your site: no sales team, no handover. I answer enquiries within one working day.

Let’s talk.

Frequent questions

The questions that come up before every project.

What does a custom website cost?

I do not work with fixed packages: the price comes from what you actually need — number of pages, languages, features, and how much material is already there. Eight questions on the site tell you the ballpark in about ninety seconds; it starts at €325. The monthly care plan from €39 is optional and a separate contract. The quote is free and without obligation; once you accept it, that figure is the final price — nothing appears on the invoice that was not in the quote.

How long until the site is live?

A five-page site usually one to two weeks, trilingual or with extra functions two to three, an online shop four to six. What sets the pace is rarely my work but your copy and images: once the material is there, it moves fast.

Is the monthly care compulsory?

No, the site is yours without it. It covers backups, security updates and small changes — without it those tasks stay with you. If you take it, the initial term is twelve months; after that it can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the month.

Who owns the website?

You do. Code, images and project files are handed over, and there is no technical lock-in: you can move the site to another provider at any time.

Will my site be found on Google?

The groundwork is in every package: clean structure, load time, structured data, copy written for search. Competitive terms need ongoing work beyond that — and anyone promising you position one within a month is selling air.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes, wherever it makes sense. I show you how to change copy, prices and images, and stay reachable for the rest. No system built to force you to call me.

Does the site use cookies? Do I need a banner?

In the basic setup there are no tracking cookies and no fonts from third-party servers — so no banner is needed. If analytics or maps are added later that changes: then consent and an updated privacy notice are required.

How does payment work?

Half on commissioning, half on handover. Care starts the month after launch. Proper invoicing, everything traceable.

Is the quote binding?

The quote isn’t, the contract is. Quote and first conversation are free and without obligation: take your time, compare, say no. The job only comes into being when we sign the contract — from then the agreed fixed price applies, and neither of us can change it along the way.

Who answers when I call?

Manuela, Vecom Design’s AI assistant — day and night, in English, Italian and German. She quotes prices, takes a look at your current website, sends you the quote link and books an appointment with Uwe. If you’re already a client, she tells you where your project stands and can fill in the kick-off questionnaire together with you, on the phone. And when it takes a human, she takes notes and you get a call back.
